6:00-8:00PM - ZOSO (The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience) – Led Zeppelin fans will not want to miss this year’s
opening act of the 2007 Louisiana  Shrimp & Petroleum Festival. Zoso, named for the symbol on Zeppelin’s fourth  album,
 is a tribute band that will rock Lawrence Park with the old hits, and they aren’t your average tribute band.  Zoso is
considered the biggest and best Zeppelin  tribute band in the country.  Zoso’s primary aim is recreate the original music of
 Led Zeppelin, with particular attention to the band’s 1973-1975 era.               
                                                                                                   
8:30 – 10:30PM - CHEE-WEEZ - If you attended the 2004 Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, you were certainly
impressed by the awesome  performance by Chee-Weez. This premier group is back,  bigger and badder than ever, ready to
rock the Park with your favorite classic hits from the 70’s to the present.  Be there to witness a “Not to
be missed show”.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2007
1:00-3:00PM –WATER’S EDGE – Performing for the first time at the Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, Water’s Edge, a local
favorite, is one of South Louisiana’s top entertainment bands with music from funk and soul to swamp pop and rock & roll.
This band is sure to get you on your feet and keep you movin’ to the beat.  Come party with Water’s Edge, you’re sure to pass a good time.

3:30-5:30PM – BIG CAT DADDY featuring TODD O’NEILL –One of South Louisiana’s hottest live variety bands
because of their joyful, take-no-prisoner performances, Big Cat Daddy will entertain you with a fearless versatility from Country
greats of yesteryear to today’s top 40 hits ranging from R & B and Soul to Rock, Pop, Zydeco and their own show-stopping
original tunes.  Big Cat Daddy featuring Todd O’Neill, will energize festival fans, tug their heartstrings,
and send them home to soak their feet and try to wipe the grins off their faces.

6:00-8:00PM – ROCKIN DOPSIE, JR. & THE ZYDECO TWISTERS - Critics hail Dopsie as one of zydeco’s most
cherished symbols, and a party seems to break out whenever and wherever he and his band show up.  Above all else, they
 create a high energy, audience participation, dance ‘til you drop, dynamic show.”   It all begins when you hear, “Ladies
 and Gentlemen, Rockin’ Dopsie, Jr. & The Zydeco Twisters!”

9:00-11:00pm – THE MOLLY RINGWALDS not just another “cover” band The Molly Ringwalds is  one of the world’s
greatest 80’s tribute band.  Hailing from Sheffield, England, this legendary quintet has been honing their ability to apply makeup,
tease their hair, and put on the greatest tribute show on earth covering all the musical genres of the fabulous 80’s.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2007
1:00-3:00pm – BITS & PIECES has built a solid reputation as Louisiana’s top “horn-powered” dance band.  Through the
years the band has performed with Three Dog Night, Fats Domino, Percy Sledge, Irma Thomas, Wayne Toups and many more.
Around since 1968 Bits and Pieces has played almost every major festival in South Louisiana and regularly performs at the festival’s
Coronation Ball.  Bits and Pieces prides itself on its ability to get people up dancing and having fun!

3:30-5:30pm – FORET TRADITION, led by brothers Ryan and Brandon Foret, is becoming a fixture in the
South Louisiana music scene.  Their song repertoire includes swamp pop, tunes from the 50’s through the  80’s, country,
 zydeco, blues, and classic rock.   Be sure to be in the audience for a foot stomping good time when Foret Tradition takes the
Petroleum Heritage music stage.

6:00-8:00pm – JAMIE BERGERON & THE KICKIN’ CAJUNS - A blistering hot gumbo of Cajun and zydeco music,
 Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin’ Cajuns will make your heart run wild with excitement and your feet rush to the dance floor.

9:00-11:00pm – TRAVIS MATTE AND THE ZYDECO KINGPINS - Mixing rock and hip hop with zydeco to create a unique
sound, Travis Matte and the Zydeco Kingpins are ready to take its tunes from Cajun country to the rest of the country.  Not
 your traditional zydeco group, Travis Matte and the Zydeco Kingpins are attracting new fans to his unique  blend of rock and
 zydeco music. Well known in the Acadiana area, you won’t want to miss this rising star’s first appearance at the
Shrimp & Petroleum Festival.

 

 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2007
1:00-2:30PM – KROSSFYRE - With their entertaining blend of funk, rhythm and blues, as
well as their crossover into pop and rock tunes their show is a crowd pleaser as is reflected by the band’s original song.   
“Who Dat” which was written for the New Orleans Saints football team.  Join us in Lawrence Park and boogie down with Krossfyre.

3:00-4:30PM – JOSH GARRETT  - Josh focuses on many original compositions and also does great renditions of artists such as: 
Bob Marley, Sting, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Johnny Lang, Jimi Hendrix, Allman Brothers.

5:00-6:30PM – WAYLON THIBODEAUX - Born in Louisiana Bayou Country just a few miles southwest of New Orleans.  Houma
native, Waylon Thibodeaux has been dubbed “Louisiana’s Rockin’ Fiddler.”  He never fails to serve up a good helping of spicy,
high-energy, Louisiana and Cajun/Zydeco music.  A versatile entertainer,  Thibodeaux can charm his audiences in French and
 English.  His is always a “must see” performance.

7:00-9:00PM – DON RICH - Don Rich, a fifth-generation family musician, has mastered seven instruments and his music has been
most greatly influenced by his father, Golen Richard,  We couldn’t think of a better musician to close out the 2007 La. Shrimp &
 Petroleum Festival.
